Product Review Engineer I

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Review Engineer I to join our Research & Testing Certification team. In this role, you will evaluate product certification applications, review technical documentation, and work directly with manufacturers, testing laboratories, and certification committees to ensure products comply with applicable standards, codes, and performance requirements.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to build expertise in product certification, code compliance, and standards development while working with a collaborative team dedicated to protecting public health and safety.

How you’ll do it!

  • Review test reports, engineering drawings, calculations, and supporting documentation to verify compliance with recognized standards, applicable codes, and product performance requirements.
  • Evaluate certification applications and complete initial reviews within established service timelines.

Work directly with clients to explain certification requirements, procedures, and

  • Participate in standards meetings and technical discussions as assigned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support certification and organizational objectives.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly and professionally to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, code of conduct, confidentiality requirements, and safety standards.
