Job description

OMNIVISION is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive the definition and positioning of CMOS image sensor products tailored for the security market. This role will be responsible for translating market needs into product requirements, promoting OVT solutions to customers and partners, and supporting Sales in expanding into new markets.
Description 
  • Lead product marketing efforts for the Security segment across North America and Europe
  • Define next-generation security-focused CMOS image sensor products based on market trends and customer requirements
  • Develop and articulate end-to-end security system solutions
  • Establish and execute key partnership strategies to strengthen market presence
  • Drive customer engagement and product promotion, working closely with strategic accounts
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify opportunities and support new market development
Qualifications 
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in applications engineering, product marketing, or product engineering
  • Strong technical background in one or more of the following areas preferred:
      • CMOS image sensors
      • Camera systems
      • Image Signal Processing (ISP) / Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
      • Optics or electro-optics
  • Solid understanding of security market trends, applications, and customer requirements
  • Willingness to travel (limited) for customer engagement and industry trade shows
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between  $130,000 - $170,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
