Broadridge Asset Management Solutions is seeking a Product Owner to join our growing BAMS Product team. The Product owner will be responsible for defining product requirements, working in close coordination with engineers and partnering with product teams, sales, and clients to influence the direction of asset management products, specifically solutions used by Private Debt and CLO managers. The position requires cross functional teamwork with our sales, services, operations, technology, legal, marketing, and other stakeholder groups. This includes client interactions and touch points with potential partners in fintech.
The ideal candidate will have experience working for a financial or technology organization, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • The Product Owner will be responsible for leading and/or supporting several key projects (often simultaneously) from original concept through final implementation.
  • Work closely with the product managers, sales and client service; obtain and document business requirements to create, manage and maintain project documentation including project definitions, prototype design, user stories, and process flows.
  • Act as a Project Manager on certain projects; engage with engineering and QA teams throughout the software life cycle, including analysis, design, development support, testing, deployment, and sales.
  • Assist in managing the overall project governance by creating and maintaining project schedules; help manage internal project communications to project & executive teams.
  • Work with product managers and client service teams to assess clients' issues and challenges, suggesting areas of improvement and defining proposed solutions.
  • Take ownership of critical issues, enlist proper representation from other support teams and drive towards resolution.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience as a business analyst/product owner experience preferred.
  • Prior experience writing business requirements, user stories or functional specifications preferred.
  • Prior experience working in Financial Services Industry, especially relating to syndicated or direct lending
  • SentryPM knowledge preferred
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a strong track record of cross-team and cross-client team participation.
  • An energetic, positive and innovative attitude, with leadership and facilitation skills to bring projects to a successful delivery.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall Methodology.
  • BS/BA degree in Business, Technology, or related field.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $130k-140k USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
