Job Summary:
Clearwater Analytics is a company serving the investment management industry, and they are seeking a Product Operations Manager. This strategic role involves driving product-led growth and managing the product operating system while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful product delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Identifies and finalizes project/implementation scope.
โ€ข Develops detailed implementation plans including internal, client and third-party resourcing.
โ€ข Manages and coordinates with internal, client and third-party resources to ensure a successful, on time and with quality implementation per plan.
โ€ข Generates weekly status reports, holds weekly status meetings with client and project team.
โ€ข Schedules and leads steering committee meetings with C-level client decision makers and Clearwater senior management.
โ€ข Manage and report on budget for implementation.
โ€ข Seek out, recommend, and implement continuous service improvements.
โ€ข Serves as a trusted relationship manager responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and thorough responses to all client inquiries and a successful transition to the steady-state servicing team.
โ€ข Be the bridge between various business stakeholders including Client Servicing team, Sales team, and Development team.
โ€ข Ability to run multiple simultaneous implementations with minimal oversight.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 7โ€“10 years of progressive experience in Product Operations, Product Management, or a closely related operational role within a B2B technology or SaaS company.
โ€ข Demonstrated experience in investment management technology or financial services platforms serving Insurance, Asset Management, Hedge Fund, or Asset Owner clients.
โ€ข Proven track record of building or scaling product operations functions โ€” not just inheriting them โ€” with experience supporting a product-led transition.
โ€ข Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with hands-on experience evaluating or operationalizing AI capabilities within a product organization.
โ€ข Strong analytical mindset โ€” comfortable owning KPI frameworks, building dashboards, and turning raw data into actionable insights.
โ€ข Exceptional ability to influence without authority; high emotional intelligence and credibility with senior peers.
โ€ข Outstanding communication skills โ€” written, verbal, and visual โ€” able to translate operational complexity into clear narratives for executives.
โ€ข Expert Technical skills in JIRA, Excel, Clarizen and Salesforce.
โ€ข Financial Services Experience (Investment, Banking, Insurance, FinTech, etc).
โ€ข Project manage in a matrix reporting environment.
โ€ข Investment accounting and reporting knowledge.
โ€ข Familiarity with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and delivery model.
โ€ข Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
โ€ข Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
โ€ข Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
โ€ข Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

โ€ข Proven experience implementing software solutions within Asset Management, Market Data and/or Insurance space.

โ€ข Securities or financial markets experience.
โ€ข Experience of managing a team essential (7-15 people).
Preferred:
โ€ข Familiarity with PLG frameworks (product-qualified leads, usage-based pricing, trial-to-paid funnels) in an enterprise context.
โ€ข Experience with tools such as Aha, Jira, Pendo.
โ€ข Experience with AI/ML platforms or tooling (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Databricks, Vertex AI) and familiarity with how AI is transforming financial services products.
โ€ข Working knowledge of Agile, Dual-Track, or JTBD methodologies.
