Job Summary

Location: Carrollton, GA

This individual is responsible for the overall product line strategy and profit/loss. Allocates resources to achieve corporate objectives. Leads a team of product managers and specialists that work cross-functionally to support all aspects of the product line inclusive of operations, sourcing, marketing, sales, engineering, pricing and other business functions. Coordinates market research to identify and evaluate product requirements for new development and enhancements to current features and functionality. Designs and implements marketing strategies, including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, and future development plans, while overseeing the product's life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjusts product management strategies and priorities to align with organizational goals, ensuring that product development and lifecycle management meet business objectives and customer needs. These strategies should drive product profitability, resulting in overall P&L improvement.
  • Advises with managers on critical product-related decisions, providing guidance on product development, market entry strategies, and customer-facing initiatives.
  • Allocates resources across the product management teams to ensure optimal product development, marketing, and sales support, aligning efforts with strategic goals.
  • Develops pricing strategies and thresholds based off market feedback, demand, value propositions, and capacity.
  • Develops tactical and operational plans for product management, ensuring that the roadmap supports long-term product success, innovation, and profitability.
  • Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies, managing risks associated with product development, distribution, and marketing.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as engineering, marketing, sales, and finance to drive product innovation, ensure timely delivery, and optimize market fit.
  • Defines key product performance indicators and benchmarks, using these metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement in the product lifecycle.
  • Hires, trains, and develops product management team members, providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their skills in product strategy, development, and execution. Ensures quality and consistency in product development processes, providing oversight to ensure that all products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Manages staff performance and development, coaching team members to achieve their full potential in contributing to the department's goals.

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Specialized Degree: Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or like fields

Years of Experience: 8-11 Years

 Field of Expertise: Product Management, Sales, Channel Management, or Engineering
