E-Commerce Listing & Fulfillment Specialist – eBay
Company: CRL Liquidation
Pay: $15.00 per hour + up to $300/month performance bonus
Work Location: In person
About the Position
CRL Liquidation is looking for a dependable, highly organized, and tech-savvy E-Commerce Listing & Fulfillment Specialist to help operate and grow our eBay sales channel.
This is a hands-on position that combines product research, eBay listing, photography, inventory organization, order fulfillment, and shipping.
We work with liquidation merchandise, which means our inventory is constantly changing. You may work with electronics, tools, home goods, appliances, clothing, shoes, toys, automotive products, or completely different merchandise throughout the same day.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys consumer products, understands technology, is extremely organized, and can take ownership of merchandise from the time it’s selected for eBay until it is sold and shipped to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and research a wide variety of consumer products
  • Research comparable products, current selling prices, and market demand
  • Create accurate and professional eBay listings
  • Write clear, searchable product titles and descriptions
  • Select appropriate categories, item specifics, and product information
  • Photograph merchandise for online listings
  • Accurately document product condition, including defects, damage, missing components, or other important details
  • Help determine competitive pricing based on product research
  • Organize listed merchandise into assigned inventory locations
  • Maintain an accurate and efficient physical inventory system
  • Ensure listed merchandise can be quickly located after it sells
  • Monitor and update active listings when necessary
  • Pick sold merchandise from inventory
  • Verify products against customer orders before shipment
  • Safely package merchandise for shipping
  • Print and apply shipping labels
  • Prepare completed orders for carrier pickup
  • Maintain a clean and highly organized e-commerce workspace
  • Assist with other e-commerce, inventory, and fulfillment responsibilities as needed

What We’re Looking For
This position requires someone who is extremely detail-oriented and organized.
Creating listings is only one part of the job. The person in this position must be able to accurately research merchandise, create quality listings, maintain physical inventory, locate sold products, and make sure the correct merchandise reaches the customer.
Requirements
  • Reliable and dependable with a strong attendance record
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong general knowledge of consumer goods, products, and brands
  • Ability to identify and research unfamiliar merchandise
  • Strong understanding of computers, smartphones, and technology
  • Comfortable learning new software and online platforms
  • Ability to efficiently conduct online product and pricing research
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to accurately enter and maintain product information
  • Comfortable taking and managing digital product photos
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to follow established inventory and organizational systems
  • Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check

Preferred Experience
Previous experience with any of the following is preferred but not necessarily required for the right candidate:
  • eBay
  • Online reselling
  • E-commerce
  • Product listing
  • Product photography
  • Shipping and fulfillment
  • Inventory management
  • Consumer electronics or general merchandise
  • Liquidation, overstock, or customer-return merchandise
  • Retail or warehouse inventory

Personal experience buying and selling merchandise online is also valuable.
Strong Consumer Product Knowledge Is Important
Because our inventory changes constantly, we’re especially interested in someone who has a strong understanding of consumer products and brands.
You don’t need to know everything.
You do need to be comfortable looking at an unfamiliar product and figuring out what it is, what it’s worth, how it should be listed, and how its condition should be accurately described.
Knowledge of categories such as electronics, tools, home improvement, appliances, home goods, clothing, shoes, toys, collectibles, automotive products, and general merchandise is a major plus.
Technology & Organization
This position involves significant daily use of technology.
You’ll regularly work with eBay, computers, smartphones, digital photography, online product research, shipping systems, inventory information, and other e-commerce tools.
You should be someone who is comfortable learning technology and can troubleshoot basic problems without becoming frustrated.
Organization is equally important.
We may have hundreds of unique products listed at any given time. Every item needs to have an identifiable physical location so it can be quickly found when it sells.
A great listing isn’t very useful if we can’t find the product afterward.
Compensation & Performance Incentive
Base Pay: $15.00 per hour
In addition to hourly compensation, employees in this position will be eligible to earn up to $300 per month in additional performance bonuses.
Performance incentives may be based on factors including:
  • Listing productivity
  • Listing quality and accuracy
  • Accuracy of product condition descriptions
  • Inventory organization
  • Ability to quickly locate sold merchandise
  • Fulfillment and shipping accuracy
  • Overall e-commerce performance
  • Consistency and reliability

We believe strong performance should be rewarded. Employees who consistently create quality listings, maintain accurate inventory, minimize preventable errors, and contribute to the growth of our e-commerce operation will have the opportunity to earn additional performance-based compensation.
About CRL Liquidation
CRL Liquidation is a family-owned liquidation and wholesale business specializing in overstock, customer returns, manufacturer casepack merchandise, pallets, mystery boxes, and a wide variety of consumer goods.
Because of the nature of liquidation, we’re constantly receiving different products and brands. Our e-commerce operation allows us to identify individual products with strong resale potential and sell them directly to customers across the country.
We’re continuing to grow this side of our business and are looking for someone who can take ownership of the process from product identification and research through listing, organization, sale, fulfillment, and shipment.
We’re a small business where individual performance matters. We value employees who are dependable, take initiative, stay organized, solve problems, and take pride in doing their job correctly.
If you’re reliable, highly organized, knowledgeable about consumer products, comfortable with technology, and interested in e-commerce or online reselling, we’d like to hear from you.
