Job description

The Product Line Manager will have overall responsibility and accountability for the performance of a Product Line with a sales volume up to $10.6 million. Responsible for managing daily operations and facilitating the requirements of the PL(s) and Customer(s).

This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Wood Dale, IL, with a planned relocation to the Merchandise Mart (Chicago) in early 2027.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Maximize sales and margin objectives of respective product line through leadership and in-depth knowledge.
  • Understanding of AAR value adds, customer relations, and internal relations
  • Execute planning/forecasting, KPI requirements, and reoccurring supplier meetings
  • Coordinate with staff to achieve business objectives in fiscal year plan.
  • Identify market trends to anticipate areas of opportunity.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
  • Ensure customer service levels are met.
  • Coordinate with the product lines and sales group to identify new program opportunities.
  • Travel is required
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you need to be successful in the role: 

  • Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 12-18 months experience in Product Line Supervisor role or equivalent required.
  • In-depth knowledge of airplane parts. 1-2 years of direct supervisory experience.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
