  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, customers, and internal stakeholders to identify expressed and unmet customer needs.
  • Translate customer insights into product, portfolio, positioning, and value-proposition strategies.
  • Support the development of strategic plans, annual marketing plans, product launch plans, business reviews, proposals, and recommendations.
  • Convert marketing strategies into specific, measurable activities that support business goals and customer acquisition and retention.
  • Develop target audience profiles and needs-based customer segmentation using behavioral, attitudinal, and aspirational insights.
  • Lead value-proposition and positioning initiatives, incorporating customer beliefs, desired behaviors, clinical evidence, economic value, and other supporting proof points.
  • Partner with commercial teams to identify target customers and prioritize market opportunities.
  • Support evidence-generation strategies by connecting clinical, usability, and economic evidence to customer needs and value propositions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and potential sources of business growth to recommend strategic areas of focus.
  • Develop sales tools, communication plans, and channel strategies for various products, markets, and customer segments.
  • Apply clinical and technical product knowledge to create compelling sales messages and clearly articulate customer value.
  • Analyze sales and business data to identify performance trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales Education to develop product-training strategies, materials, tools, and ongoing educational resources.
  • Develop volume forecasts based on market conditions, sales activity, product trials, risks, and business assumptions.
  • Support integrated business planning, product lifecycle management, and supply-chain initiatives related to the overall portfolio strategy.
  • Analyze market-pricing data and support pricing strategies that align with brand positioning, customer value, and broader marketing objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing Communications to define communication objectives and evaluate appropriate marketing channels and tools.
  • Establish KPIs, milestones, and success criteria; conduct post-launch analyses; and incorporate lessons learned into future plans.
  • Analyze customer-satisfaction data and develop consistent methods for tracking and reporting customer engagement and business performance.
  • Accurately forecast resource needs, contribute to the budgeting process, and explain variances between planned and actual expenses.
  • Support the development of project charters, capital expenditure requests, and business-case financial models, as applicable.
  • Collaborate across functions to build strong partnerships and accomplish business objectives.
  • Deliver high-quality results with energy, accountability, and a strong focus on business priorities.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, or mentorship to other marketing team members as needed.
