The Global Product Information Analyst II is responsible for managing and governing product data across the Product Information Management (PIM) system and ERP, with a focus on data quality, enrichment, governance execution, and continuous improvement of product data architecture to support omnichannel, digital, and commercial use cases. This role partners closely with Digital & eCommerce, Commercial, Product Management, IT, and regional teams to ensure product information is accurate, accessible, compliant, and consistently structured across internal systems and external channels.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead implementation, optimization, and ongoing improvement of ERP and PIM system architecture, workflows, and integrations.
  • Drive global product data governance execution, including taxonomy, attribute frameworks, definitions, naming conventions, and business rules.
  • Ensure global data compliance and integrity by designing and maintaining audit methodologies, dashboards, and scorecards, and actively engaging product teams to close gaps.
  • Partner with Digital, eCommerce, and Commercial teams to ensure product information supports omnichannel requirements, SEO, and customer experience standards.
  • Develop scalable methods for accessing, distributing, and syndicating product data to internal systems, customer tools, and external platforms.
  • Monitor and coordinate global enrichment activities, providing direction and prioritization to data entry and regional resources.
  • Identify automation, mass‑update, and efficiency opportunities within PIM and ERP to reduce manual effort and improve time‑to‑market.
  • Contribute to roadmap discussions for PIM, DAM, and adjacent systems, incorporating evolving business and market requirements.
  • Support ad hoc data governance activities, including data quality investigations, standards definition, ownership alignment, and cross‑domain data initiatives beyond product information.

What you need: Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Product Information Management, Master Data Management, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (required).
  • 3+ years of experience working with databases and data modeling (required).
  • Hands‑on experience with Product Information Management systems (strongly preferred).
  • Experience supporting eCommerce, digital platforms, or data syndication use cases (preferred).

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including large‑dataset analysis and data validation.
  • Strong knowledge of databases, data modeling, and master data concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience acquiring, cleansing, enriching, and governing large volumes of structured product data.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle E1 desired) and modern PIM platforms (e.g., Akeneo, Salsify, Informatica – preferred).
  • Understanding of omnichannel product data requirements (websites, marketplaces, customer tools).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis skills.
  • Process‑driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and scalability.
  • Highly organized, self‑starter with the ability to operate independently in a global environment.
  • Ability to coordinate cross‑functional and cross‑regional efforts effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in managing data quality, validation, and governance standards.

Computer Skills

Advanced

  • Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas; experience working with large datasets).
  • Product Information Management (PIM) platforms such as Akeneo, Salsify, Informatica, Stibo Systems, or equivalent.

Intermediate

  • SQL (reading and writing queries for data validation, auditing, and analysis).
  • Python (data cleansing, automation, scripting to support exports/imports, data workflows, web scraping).
  • R Project (data analysis / data exploration; acceptable alternative to Python in many data‑handling role requirements).
  • Microsoft Power BI (data modeling, basic DAX, dashboard consumption and validation).
  • ERP systems (Oracle E1 desired) with understanding of master data structures and dependencies.
  • Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Microsoft Power Automate.

Working Knowledge / Exposure

  • Data modeling concepts (attributes, hierarchies, taxonomies, relationships).
  • Integration concepts between PIM, ERP, DAM, CRM, and eCommerce platforms.
  • Mass‑update, automation, and data import/export techniques (CSV, flat files, system tools).
  • Familiarity with digital and omnichannel data requirements (websites, marketplaces, customer tools).
