About the Team:
The Americas Product Development team is responsible for shaping the future of Invesco's investment platform by developing innovative products and managing the firm's product lineup across asset classes and investment vehicles. Working closely with investment teams, distribution partners, and key business stakeholders, the team identifies market opportunities, drives product innovation, and ensures Invesco continues to deliver client-centric solutions that meet evolving investor needs.
As part of a global asset manager with over $2.4 trillion in assets under management, the team plays a critical role in bringing new ETF strategies to market, managing the existing product range, and helping position Invesco as a leader in investment innovation across active, passive, alternatives, and private market solutions.
About the Role:
The Senior Director, Americas ETF Product Development will play a key leadership role in executing Invesco's ETF product strategy and advancing the firm's innovation agenda. This individual will partner with investment teams, distribution leaders, index providers, and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate, develop, launch, and manage ETF products that address client needs and support business growth.
This role combines product innovation, strategic planning, market research, governance, and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will help drive the ETF product roadmap, evaluate new opportunities, oversee product development initiatives from concept through launch, and ensure alignment with Invesco's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Partner with Investment and Distribution teams to develop business cases for new ETF products and range management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with index providers and internal stakeholders to build a robust pipeline of ETF product ideas and innovation opportunities.
  • Help manage the Americas ETF product roadmap and provide transparency on key initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and product evaluations to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead the prioritization and development of new ETF concepts through Invesco's product governance framework.
  • Drive ETF product launches and range management initiatives from concept through implementation and regulatory approval.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Platform Management, and Product Governance teams to ensure successful execution of product initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor product activity, regulatory developments, and market innovation across the ETF landscape.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in exchange-traded products, indexing, investment strategies, and market developments.
  • Represent ETF Product Development during client, consultant, and due diligence meetings.
  • Support adjacent product development initiatives across Private Markets and Digital Assets when appropriate.

Requirements of the Role:
  • 10+ years of investment industry experience in product development, product management, portfolio management, or a related investment-focused role.
  • Extensive ETF and index strategy product experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, exchange-traded products, indexing methodologies, and investment concepts across asset classes.
  • Experience leading product development and range management initiatives within complex regulatory environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate market opportunities and make data-driven product recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of investment vehicles, fund structures, and client distribution channels.
  • Experience partnering with investment teams and distribution organizations to develop innovative, commercially viable investment solutions.
  • Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively to executive, client, and industry audiences.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities.
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, or a related field required.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • CFA or other relevant professional designation preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $165,000- $190,000/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
