Job Description

The purpose of this position is to work closely with the Product Development and Sales teams on the development and lifecycle process of laminate flooring to meet customer needs.
• Set up and manage market intelligence database that includes competitive pricing,
specifications, specific market issues, new product requests and other relevant
market information.
• Work cross functionally for process improvements and other initiatives such as
value engineering
• Work closely with the operations team to make sure item launches run smoothly.
• Responsible for label creation and maintenance.
• Responsible for KSoft item creation and maintenance as well as ownership of item
specification sheets and other product related support items.
• Participate in and review all first-article production runs, assuring compliance with
market requirements and approving first article runs in production.
• Compile market comparisons of flooring quality and analyze risks.
• Handle daily inquiries from internal departments regarding product issues
• Maintain product data on customer web pages including product descriptions,
product specifications, warranty information, pricing, and product overview.
• Coordinate all sampling for customer meetings, product planning and execution.
