The Market Development Manager will drive strategic growth and business development initiatives within Intel's Federal and Aerospace Division in the Edge Computing Group, focusing on identifying and capturing opportunities across defense, aerospace, and civilian government sectors. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, market intelligence, and relationship-building to expand Intel's footprint in the government and commercial market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for federal and aerospace customers aligned with Intel's technology roadmap and government priorities.
  • Identify and analyze emerging opportunities in defense, aerospace, and civilian agencies through market research, tradeshows, and customer intelligence gathering
  • Create targeted market penetration plans for priority accounts and new customer acquisition in coordination with account executives and technical sales teams
  • Lead business case analysis for new opportunities, evaluating technical requirements, pricing strategies, and profitability implications
  • Collaborate with capture and proposal teams to develop winning strategies for competitive government procurement
  • Serve as technical liaison between customer requirements and Intel's engineering, product management, and manufacturing organizations
  • Represent Intel at industry conferences, tradeshows, and government forums including speaking engagements
  • Partner with Intel's go-to-market and sales organization to align on customer strategies and coordinate technical resources
  • Work with marketing teams to develop sales materials, media kits, and value propositions tailored to government customers
  • Coordinate with business development leaders across compute products, silicon engineering, and integration services

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or market development within semiconductor, aerospace, defense, or federal technology sectors

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience on at least one of the following:

AI/ML/Gen/Agentic AI, Autonomy, Edge Computing, Cybersecurity, Digital Twins, Sensor Fusion, Computer Vision, Mission Critical/Rugged Systems, xPUs, Standards/Certifications
