Job Summary


MAAX, a leader in North American bathroom fixtures, is looking for a Product Manager to drive the growth of strategic product portfolios across the organization.

In this role, you will lead the development of innovative, customer-focused products—from concept to launch—while working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Channel, and Sales.

You’ll join a dynamic and passionate team driven to win in the bathware space and committed to shaping the future of North American homes.

The role requires regular collaboration and presentations to cross-functional teams and leadership, in both French and English.


Core responsibilities

  • Own assigned product categories, including full product lifecycle management and new product development


Product management responsibilities


Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Define product positioning and key differentiators (“how we win”)
  • Develop and maintain a long-term product roadmap aligned with business goals
  • Manage the product portfolio to drive revenue growth and profitability while also managing products life cycle
  • Align product initiatives with overall company strategy and available resources

Market & Customer Insights

  • Engage with customers early in the development process to validate needs and concepts
  • Conduct and contribute to market research (objectives, methodology, execution, and analysis)
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform decisions

Financial & Pricing Strategy

  • Build business cases for new products, including sales forecasts and profitability analysis
  • Establish pricing strategies that support strong market positioning and margins

Go-to-Market & Commercialization

  • Support product training, product launches and commercialization strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on product positioning, messaging, and campaigns
  • Contribute to brand awareness initiatives (events, digital marketing, etc.)

Communication & Collaboration

  • Present product strategies & roadmap, project updates, and business cases to leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement of product development processes

Profile

  • Strong track record of leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas
  • High sense of ownership, accountability, and drive to deliver
  • 3–5 years of experience in product management, product development or a related field
  • Experience with physical products in a manufacturing or durable goods environment
  • Experience in channel marketing or sales is an asset
  • Experience in the sanitary ware, construction, or plumbing industry is an asset
