Associate Product Manager Goalie

The Associate Product Manager Goalie is responsible for supporting the end-to-end development, management, and growth of the goalie product line. This role partners closely with R&D, design, sales, and marketing to deliver high-performance products aligned with brand strategy, consumer needs, and business objectives. The position plays a key role in product planning, execution, go-to-market alignment, and market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain detailed product briefs and line plans for goalie product launches.
  • Support the evolution of line architecture and product life cycles to drive business growth.
  • Identify new product opportunities and carryover strategies.
  • Coordinate with Goalie R&D to ensure development samples, timelines, and performance targets are met.
  • Manage product life cycle milestones from concept through launch and post-launch evaluation.
  • Complete all operational requirements and documentation for product SKUs, including item creation in product management systems.
  • Partner with design, development, sales, and marketing teams to deliver top-tier products.
  • Ensure strong alignment with go-to-market plans across all functions.
  • Present product updates and recommendations at internal gate reviews, key account meetings, and sales launches.
  • Prepare and analyze market insights, trend reports, and competitive data to inform product strategy.
  • Leverage research, cost analysis, and demand forecasting to support pricing recommendations.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop product sales strategies and support market share objectives.
  • Support major product launches and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing to ensure accurate and compelling product information across digital platforms.
  • Contribute to technical product content including videos, illustrations, performance copy, catalogs, and retail tools.
  • Attend retail demo, fit, and on-ice events to gather consumer insights and identify opportunities to enhance the in-store experience.
  • Support athlete activations, line reviews, and product launches as needed.
  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of sales and consumer-facing tools, including online product customizers.
  • Support overall team initiatives and contribute to shared goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in product management, hockey specialty retail, merchandising, product engineering, or product development and design.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of and passion for ice hockey, with a strong preference for goaltending experience or expertise.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to build data-driven business cases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Travel Requirements:

Ability and willingness to travel frequently for US and Canada retail visits, meetings, events, and product launches, with occasional international travel.
