Job description

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing will be accountable for driving revenue growth and leading Bizmatics' commercial strategy, with primary responsibility for sales performance, revenue generation, pipeline development, forecasting, and sales-team leadership.

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing will lead and develop a high-producing sales organization; the ideal candidate is a results-driven sales executive with a proven history of building and developing high-performing, quota-driven sales organizations and consistently delivering revenue growth.

The role also oversees marketing and partners closely with Product to bring new solutions to market. This role owns the full commercial engine: sales operations, marketing, and business development, with a mandate to accelerate performance through people-first leadership, AI-powered tools, and a compelling new product story.

This role reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Bizmatics, Inc. and collaborates across the executive leadership team to define and execute go-to-market strategy for accelerated, sustainable growth. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is an exciting Leadership opportunity to be hands-on with strategy and decision making.

What Your Impact Will Be

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Own P&L accountability for sales; drive monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings sales targets with rigorous forecast discipline
  • Lead and actively develop a senior, quota-carrying sales team to consistently exceed targets in a high-volume, high-growth environment
  • Build and execute an aggressive go-to-market strategy aligned with Bizmatics' growth objectives and new product launch roadmap
  • Expand market reach into new ambulatory care segments - independent physician groups, multi-specialty practices, and ambulatory surgery centers

AI-Enabled Commercial Operations

  • Embed AI tools across the sales and marketing stack to improve pipeline quality, market targeting, and revenue forecasting
  • Champion data-driven decision-making: pipeline reviews, win/loss analysis, and performance conversations grounded in real-time insight, not intuition alone
  • Evaluate and deploy emerging sales intelligence platforms to maintain competitive advantage in the ambulatory EHR market

Marketing & Brand Leadership

  • Direct integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns tailored to ambulatory healthcare buyers and practice decision-makers
  • Lead go-to-market positioning, messaging architecture, and launch execution for Bizmatics' new product line
  • Build Bizmatics' brand authority in ambulatory care through thought leadership, industry conference presence, and content strategy

New Product Development Partnership

  • Serve as the commercial voice in product development - ensuring market intelligence and customer feedback directly inform the EHR product roadmap
  • Lead beta customer programs and early adopter engagement to generate proof points and reference-able clients ahead of full market release

Team Development & Coaching Culture

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales talent through structured 1:1 coaching, performance management, and clear accountability for sales quota attainment and revenue growth.
  • Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement where performance conversations are a consistent leadership standard - not an annual event

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 12+ years of progressive software sales leadership experience, with significant experience in healthcare technology; Executive Leadership in a sales role is required
  • 7+ years of direct experience selling ambulatory EHR, practice management, or adjacent healthcare software
  • 7+ years building, growing, and actively coaching senior, quota-carrying sales teams
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex B2B technology sales in a SaaS, software, healthcare technology, or IT environment
  • Proven ability to develop sales strategy, establish forecasting discipline, improve pipeline performance, and drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite executives, business leaders, and other senior decision-makers
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree preferred

Preferred

  • Experience selling to independent practices, multi-specialty groups, FQHCs, or ambulatory surgery centers
  • Experience leading a team through a product or platform launch
  • Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and value-based care implications for EHR purchasing

Salary Range:

$130-150k Role is commission eligible

What We Offer
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • 3 weeks vacation + 5 personal days
