Sage Parts is the world's largest supplier of GSE (Ground Support Equipment) and airport-related equipment replacement parts with operations in The United States, Canada, Chile, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Peru, South Africa, The Netherlands, and The United Kingdom. Sage Parts supplies replacement parts and accessories for all types and brands of GSE. Sage provides supply chain management, on site supply services, single source supply, logistics solutions, engineering solutions and other cost reduction programs.

The Data Administrator I is a key role to drive Sage Partsโ€™ strategic advantage of sourcing data management. This role requires a driven and creative individual, who poses strong analytical skills. Below is a detailed list which includes, but is not limited to, the basic job responsibilities, specifications and qualifications.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ยท Perform analysis on large datasets to identify new part numbers and part number linkages.

ยท Review, summarize, pull out pertinent information, and digitize documents and other information to be uploaded into the ERP.

ยท Leverage existing analytical tools and assist development of new tools to perform large data upload, modification, and audits.

ยท Run data queries from tools such as Crystal Reporting, Power BI, and Microsoft Access.

ยท Run upload tools to assist with large data entry into the Sage Parts ERP.

ยท Assist with supplier setup, audit and verify accuracy of quality and ESG documentation.

ยท Set up new parts and Sage Parts sites, ensure parts sourcing and replenishment rules are set correctly.

ยท Perform data validation to avoid data inaccuracies and avoid inadvertent duplication (spelling, proper data formatting, cross check existing database that the part or supplier hasnโ€™t already been defined).

ยท Think critically to identify creative solutions to expand, improve, or maintain Sage Partsโ€™ databases.

ยท Creating and maintaining documentation of data processes and procedures.

ยท Communication between departments and within the Sourcing team to clarify objectives, clear roadblocks, and ensure business objectives are met.

ยท This position is primarily on-site. After an initial period of employment there may an opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule (working up to two days per week remotely).


REQUIREMENTS / REQUESTED QUALIFICATIONS

ยท Strong skill set in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, particularly Excel

ยท SQL, DBA, Crystal Reporting, Microsoft Access, JavaScript, Power BI, or HTML coding or report writing experience is a plus

ยท Experience working in (ERP) Enterprise Resource Planning Systems

ยท Prior experience with Epicor Prophet 21 is a plus

ยท Experience reading manuals, blueprints, parts catalogues, and diagrams

ยท Must fluently speak and communicate in English

ยท Additional languages are beneficial and would be considered an advantage, specifically, Spanish, Portuguese, French, or German

ยท Good written and verbal communication skills

ยท Good typing skills โ€“ speed and accuracy a must for high volume of data entry

ยท Attention to detail

ยท Ability to multi-task and change priority as necessary
