Quality Control Analyst
Job title: Quality Control Analyst
Location: Smithfield, PA

The role:
As a Quality Control Analyst, you will help drive our goals by:
• Performing analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products to support quality standards.
• Preparing chemical reagents and standards and ensuring accurate sample preparation.
• Reviewing analytical results, identifying out-of-control conditions and escalating issues where required.
• Maintaining, calibrating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation.
• Supporting the introduction of new analytical methods and continuous improvement activities.
• Training colleagues on laboratory procedures while maintaining accurate quality documentation.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Knowledge of chemical analysis, quality systems and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with ICP and/or XRF analytical techniques is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills within a laboratory environment.
• Ability to maintain detailed records and communicate technical information clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
