Job Description

The Applications Developer will develop new software systems, provide technical support to our internal and external customer ****, troubleshoot code, participate in peer reviews, and thoroughly test code. Applications include public-facing portals, dealer interfaces, and offline-capable mobile apps that drive automation and move the department toward a digital, paperless environment. In addition to supporting core systems, this position will also be assigned to projects from the project management team.

Major duties include:

  • Develop new web and mobile applications from business requirements to production in alignment with technical designs.
  • Design and develop different types of mobile applications (Native, Hybrid, or PWAs) that support offline functionality.
  • Implement offline-first capabilities, including **** data storage (SQLite/ Realm) and secure data synchronization once a network
  • connection is restored.
  • Update current systems and applications by developing changes and fixing issues with strict attention to deadlines and downtime.
  • Operate with high efficiency and a keen eye for detail.
  • Prepare and interpret project documentation.
  • Work with the project management team to prepare projects.
  • Write all technical documentation for developed projects and assist with maintenance plans.
  • Maintain application security as guided by the security team.
  • May train new team members on existing systems or applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
