Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute failure analysis strategies to investigate and resolve process, product, and technology failures.
- Conduct laboratory work to evaluate electrical and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, and systems.
- Investigate interactions between materials and devices to identify root causes of failures.
- Develop and implement electrical, analytical, and mechanical methodologies to enhance failure analysis capabilities for future products.
- Lead technology and/or product transfers, manufacturing startups, and failure analysis process improvements.
- Analyze failure reports and provide recommendations for corrective actions to prevent issue recurrence.
- Share learnings across sites and promote best practices to enhance organizational knowledge.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree, or 0 years of experience with a PhD.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following areas through coursework or professional experience:
- Semiconductor device physics.
- Digital or analog circuit design and validation.
- Defect detection or fault isolation methodologies in manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis in semiconductor manufacturing or related fields.
- Collaborative mindset with experience in group problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork.
- Familiarity with test environments and process manufacturing debugging.
