Job description


HilltopSecurities is currently looking to hire a Product Analyst in Dallas, Texas. The Product Analyst will play a key role in the strategy and design of various Hilltop supported applications. The Product Analyst will work to constantly improve through data-driven analysis and by conceptualizing, defining and ensuring the quality of new features. The ideal candidate understands that product management is cross-functional and involves business development, strategic thinking, data driven insights, market research, and awareness of goals versus constraints. The product analyst will need to drive the balance between the ideal product and the marketable product always thinking ahead for how best to improve the user experience.
Responsibilities
  • Support day to day product issues by researching and resolving application issues
  • Prioritize and implement problem resolution procedures and keep updates and status of open issues through Service Center
  • Suggest and champion system improvements and any potential industry requirements
  • Support upgrades, projects and test requests
  • Serve as a liaison with end users, various departments and outside vendors, participate/coordinate in testing activities as needed
  • Facilitate the communication by which information is distributed within the teams
  • Coordinate meetings / user groups
  • Function independently

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred preferably business related
  • 4+ years of experience supporting financial products
  • Experience working in the financial industry
  • Comfortable with various toolsets: Salesforce Service Cloud, Power BI, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint/Teams
  • You are gifted at handling multiple requests at once and understand how to prioritize to meet the needs of the consumer.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills covering complex business topics.
  • Demonstrated the ability to define product requirements and lay out a plan to deliver a quality experience that is simple and complete with scheduled incremental improvements after the initial roll out.
  • FINRA Series 7 preferred
