We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity with our client, a prestigious, entrepreneur-led insurance brokerage firm specializing in Commercial Insurance, Employee Benefits, Financial Services, and Personal Lines of Insurance. Our client offers great benefits, including employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and 401k. The firm is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Producer.
This role is crucial to the firm's success, focusing on new business acquisition and renewing existing accounts. The Producer will build and nurture relationships with clients, prospects, the service team, carriers, and centers of influence, while identifying and soliciting prospects.
Producer Job Responsibilities
  • Prospecting suitable business in line with company and business segment goals and thresholds.
  • Presenting proposals professionally, detailing coverages to ensure client understanding.
  • Effectively communicating with clients, prospects, insurance company partners, and the service team.
  • Finalizing sales and collecting necessary documents, briefing the service team on the policy sale.
  • Developing prospects through community affiliations, company-hosted seminars, and networking events, and maintaining relationships with industry contacts and current account referrals.
  • Maintaining knowledge of underwriting criteria to effectively communicate to all involved parties.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly new business goals.

Qualifications
  • Established Book of Business with an Independent Agency.
  • Current State Property & Casualty, and Life & Health Licenses (as required by the State Commissioner to provide service, consultation & sales), and Continued Education to maintain Licenses.
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred, but not required.
  • Proven validation at current brokerage.
