Equitable Advisors in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Associate Financial Planner to support a collaborative team of twelve experienced Financial Advisors. This is a financial planning role designed for early to mid-career financial planning professionals who are building a long-term career in financial planning, wealth management, and advisory services. In this role, you will be a key partner to our Producer(s), helping deliver a seamless, high quality experience to our clients. You'll serve as a primary point of contact, manage schedules and client communications, and play a critical role in preparing financial planning materials, processing account applications, and supporting investment transfers.
In this position, you will gain further hands-on experience across financial planning, investments, and client service while working directly with Advisors in a fiduciary-focused advisory practice. The role offers structured mentorship, exposure to real client relationships, and opportunities for professional growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Prepare financial analyses and assist in developing comprehensive financial plans
  • Support Advisors with financial plan implementation and ongoing client reviews
  • Coordinate with approved vendors for investment or research analysis as needed
  • Participate in identifying planning gaps and proactive client solutions
  • Take increasing ownership of financial plan preparation and client deliverables
    Portfolio and Investment Support
  • Assist with investment portfolio analysis, rebalancing, and administration
  • Maintain accurate portfolio, account, and performance data
  • Support ongoing investment monitoring and documentation
    Client and Advisor Support
  • Process client service requests and follow through to resolution
  • Coordinate with internal team members to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in CRM and planning systems
  • Serve as a key planning resource to Advisors across multiple client relationships
    Process Improvement and Technology
  • Assist in improving workflows, procedures, and documentation
  • Utilize financial planning and investment tools to enhance efficiency
  • Contribute ideas to improve both the client and Advisor experience

The base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You'll Bring
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, investments, or individual financial services

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within planning software and CRM system
