Job description

Sales Representative — Florida

Florida Roofing and Gutters is looking for a driven, competitive Sales Representative to join our growing Florida team.

This role is for someone who wants to build a strong book of business, earn at a high level, and take ownership of their results.

We aren't looking for someone who needs to be constantly managed or motivated. We're looking for INSPIRED people who want to do great things and be a part of a winning team and who are willing to learn the process, get in the field, talk to homeowners, follow up consistently, and do what it takes to close business.

The right person will be responsible for the full sales process, from generating opportunities and inspecting properties to earning the customer's trust, closing the deal, and helping move the job successfully through the process.

Position Overview

This is a field-based sales position for someone who is comfortable creating opportunities, meeting with homeowners, inspecting properties, and guiding customers through the roofing and exterior restoration process.

You will be expected to take ownership of your pipeline and your results.

That means prospecting when you need more opportunities, following up when a customer isn't ready to make a decision, keeping your CRM updated, and consistently moving deals forward.

Your income and growth within the company will be directly connected to your ability to produce.

Sales Representative Responsibilities

  • Run company provided leads and produce new sales opportunities, referrals, networking, prospecting, and other lead-generation activities
  • Respond to and follow up with leads quickly and consistently
  • Meet with homeowners to assess roofing and exterior needs
  • Perform roof and exterior inspections and accurately document findings
  • Build trust with homeowners and provide a professional customer experience
  • Educate customers on available roofing and exterior solutions
  • Recommend solutions based on the customer's property, needs, and situation
  • Present proposals and confidently ask for the sale
  • Write contracts accurately and collect required documentation
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process
  • Keep customer information, follow-ups, and job status updated in the CRM
  • Work closely with production and office teams to help ensure a smooth handoff after the sale
  • Consistently hit or exceed weekly and monthly activity and sales goals
  • Participate in sales meetings, training, coaching, and ongoing development
  • Represent Florida Roofing and Gutters professionally in the field and in the community

What We Offer

  • High income potential
  • Full benefits, including:
    • Health insurance
    • 401(k)
  • Company truck, cell, and Ipad provided
  • Sales training and ongoing development
  • Established systems, technology, and support
  • Professional work environment
  • Positive, competitive sales culture
  • Long-term growth opportunities
  • Opportunity to advance into leadership based on performance

What We're Looking For

  • Competitive and motivated to produce results
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Comfortable approaching and speaking with homeowners
  • Willing to prospect and create opportunities instead of waiting for leads
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a sales pipeline
  • Coachable and willing to follow a proven sales process
  • Organized and consistent with follow-up
  • Comfortable climbing roofs and performing inspections
  • Strong personal accountability
  • Able to handle rejection and continue producing
  • Professional appearance and communication
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Experience (but not required)

  • In-home sales experience
  • Roofing, exterior restoration, construction, or home-improvement sales experience
  • Door-to-door or field sales experience
  • Experience working in a commission-driven environment
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals

Who Will Succeed Here

This opportunity is for someone who wants their results to be in their own hands.

If you're willing to get in the field, create opportunities, follow up relentlessly, take care of your customers, and close business, there is a significant opportunity to build a career with Florida Roofing and Gutters.

We provide the tools, training, systems, and support.

You bring the effort, consistency, and drive to produce.

If you're ready to compete, sell, and build something with a growing company, Florida Roofing and Gutters wants to hear from you.
