Job description

 Position Summary

Lenz Truck Center is seeking a proven Sales Manager to lead the Sales operations at our Fond du Lac, WI location. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for people, process, inventory, deal structure, and execution. The Sales Manager drives day-to-day sales operations and is accountable for consistent, professional driving performance.
This role is ideal for a disciplined, competitive leader who believes in strong processes, clear accountability, and daily execution drive results.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & F&I Leadership

- Desk, structure, and approve retail deals
- Oversee and approve trade appraisals
- Ensure compliant profitable deal structures
- Monitor front end and back end gross performance daily
- Actively assist in sales and F&I production when staffing requires hands on support

Inventory & Pricing Management

- Review vehicle pricing using market data
- Manage inventory aging and turn strategies
- Partner on inventory acquisition to align with market demand

Team Leadership & Accountability

- Lead sales meetings and ongoing training
- Coach, and develop sales and F&I staff
- Establish and maintain a culture of accountability, preparation, and performance

CRM, Leads & Technology

- Own lead management, response standards, and follow-up execution
- Monitor lead to sale performance metrics and enforce CRM compliance

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or senior sales leader
- Strong desking, deal-structuring, and trade appraisal experience
- Demonstrated success improving sales volume, gross, and inventory performance
- Advanced working knowledge of Cox Automotive Software
- Ability to lead from the front and produce when needed
- Comfortable delivering direct feedback and managing performance

Schedule

Full-time, on-site leadership role. Schedule aligned with business needs, including evenings and weekends as required.
