About the Role
As a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Sourcing & Procurement Consulting, you will make an impact by helping global organizations transform their sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and source-to-pay operations. You will be a valued member of Cognizant Consulting's Supply Chain Management practice and collaborate with clients, consulting teams, client partners, industry leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business transformation outcomes. ,
In This Role, You Will
  • Lead consulting engagements focused on strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, supplier lifecycle management, category management, and supply chain risk management.
  • Advise clients on sourcing and procurement operating model improvements, source-to-contract and procure-to-pay transformation, and supplier governance strategies.
  • Design and implement high-value transformation roadmaps by identifying process improvement opportunities, operational risks, controls, and technology enablement initiatives.
  • Build and strengthen trusted client relationships while supporting business development activities, proposal creation, and growth of the Supply Chain Management consulting practice.
  • Drive thought leadership through white papers, client workshops, webinars, market insights, and industry points of view related to procurement excellence, supplier resilience, and procurement technology innovation.
  • Consistently demonstrate the Cognizant Way to Lead through personal leadership, organizational leadership, and business leadership capabilities.
Work Model
Hybrid Role - New Jersey / United States

What You Must Have to Be Considered
  • 12+ years of experience in consulting, supply chain transformation, sourcing, procurement, or related client-facing advisory roles.
  • Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, supplier lifecycle management, category management, and source-to-pay processes.
  • Proven experience leading client engagements, business transformation initiatives, and consulting teams within global organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement and sourcing platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Ivalua, Jaggaer, GEP, Zycus, or similar solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier risk management, procurement governance, supplier performance management, and procurement operating models.
  • Experience working with global clients and executive stakeholders in complex transformation environments.

These Will Help You Succeed
  • Experience building, scaling, or leading a high-performing consulting practice.
  • Previous experience with a leading management consulting firm.
  • Expertise across direct materials, indirect procurement, logistics sourcing, manufacturing services, capital procurement, or technology procurement categories.
  • Knowledge of contract lifecycle management, spend analytics, third-party risk management, and supplier resilience frameworks.
  • MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent advanced business qualification preferred. (Recruiter enhancement based on typical Senior Manager consulting market expectations.)

Compensation
The annual salary for this position is expected to be between $105,000 and $160,000, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
