Energix Renewables is a leading developer, owner, and operator of utility‑scale solar projects across the U.S. We are committed to delivering clean, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions that support long‑term growth in the renewable energy sector.


Position Overview

The Procurement Buyer will support end‑to‑end procurement activities for equipment, materials, and services used across Energix’s solar projects. This role is hands‑on and operational, focused on vendor coordination, quote analysis, purchase order execution, and ERP accuracy.


You will work closely with engineering, construction, finance, and project teams to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and compliant purchasing.


This position is onsite in Arlington, VA.


Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Coordination — Request quotes, follow up with suppliers, compare pricing, and support vendor selection.
  • Quote Analysis — Evaluate bids for cost, lead time, technical compliance, and commercial terms.
  • Purchase Order Execution — Create requisitions, generate POs, and track approvals in the ERP system (Oracle).
  • ERP Management — Maintain accurate data for requisitions, POs, delivery status, and invoice flow.
  • Order Tracking — Monitor order progress from issuance through delivery; resolve delays or discrepancies.
  • Documentation — Maintain procurement files, pricing history, and vendor records.
  • Cross‑Functional Support — Collaborate with engineering, construction, and finance to ensure materials meet project needs.
  • Market Awareness — Stay informed on pricing trends and availability for solar‑related materials.
  • Continuous Improvement — Recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and cost control.


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Experience in solar, renewables, or construction materials is a strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP Procurement or similar systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors, quotes, and purchase orders simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred.
