Job description

Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manageris responsible forleading strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations across Restaurant Technologies. This role oversees procurement processes, develops category and sourcing strategies, and drives organizational value through cost optimization, supplier performance management, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.

The Procurement Manager serves as a strategic business partnertoOperations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure thetimelyand cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while supporting company growthobjectives.

Location & Travel

This position is based out of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area and preference will be given to candidates who are willing to commute to the office as needed for collaboration, team meetings, and strategy sessions. Estimated travelis15-20%and will primarily be for vendor visits.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000 annually, plus a20% bonus opportunity. Please note that the base salary will vary based on geographic location, market conditions, and the candidate's experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

  • Develop and execute sourcing and category management strategies that support businessobjectivesand long-term growth.
  • Lead supplierselection, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions to achieveoptimaltotal cost of ownership.
  • Identifyand implement cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement opportunities across assignedspendcategories.
  • Evaluate market trends, supply risks, and industry developments to inform sourcing strategies and supplier decisions.
  • Drive supplier innovation initiatives that support product development, operational improvements, and competitive advantage.

Supplier Relationship & Performance Management

  • Establish andmaintainstrategic relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
  • Develop supplier scorecards and performance metrics focused on quality, delivery, cost, service, and innovation.
  • Lead supplier business reviews and corrective action initiatives to improve performance and mitigate risk.
  • Identifyand qualify new suppliers to ensure supply continuity and business resilience.
  • Manage supplier contract compliance and ensure fulfillment of negotiated commitments.

Procurement Operations

  • Oversee the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders to support purchasing activities, inventory optimization, and production requirements.
  • Ensure purchase orders, contracts, and procurement transactions are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • MonitorprocurementKPIs and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Support working capitalobjectivesthrough inventory management and supplier payment optimization.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Product Development teams to align sourcing strategies with business priorities.
  • Lead procurement involvement in new product introductions, capital projects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide procurement leadership during supplier transitions, product changes, and operational expansions.
  • Influence stakeholders and drive adoption of procurement best practices throughout the organization.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identifyand mitigate supply chain risks related to supplier concentration,logistics, quality, capacity, and geopolitical factors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Develop contingency strategies tomaintainsupply continuity and minimize business disruptions.
  • Support audit activities andmaintainprocurement documentation and records.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop procurement personnel to enhance capabilities and performance.
  • Establish departmentobjectivesand drive accountability through measurable performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer-focused service.

RequiredQualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field;OR4+ years ofadditionalrelevant work experience in lieu of the bachelor's degree

Experience

  • 8+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or operations experienceincluding3+yearsof leadershipor peoplemanagement experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
  • Experience developing and executing category management strategies.

Technical Skills

  • Experiencewithmodernenterprise ERP platforms.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and contract management skills.
  • Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel and procurement analytics tools.
  • Experience with supplier performance management systems and sourcing tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Cloud ERP experience
  • Experiencemanaging OEMs, contract manufacturers, and strategic supplier relationships.
  • Project management and continuous improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent).
