DPS is now hiring a ROI/Purchasing Assistant for a Facility in Springfield, MO. Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.

Job Details:

Location: 2909 N. Neergard Ave. Springfield, MO 65803

Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm | Monday - Friday

Starting Pay Rate: $17.00 hour (based on experience)

Temporary to hire

Responsibilities:

  • Process electronic requisitions and place purchase orders according to established schedules
  • Source products and services from approved vendors and contract suppliers
  • Communicate with departments and vendors to clarify order requirements and specifications
  • Monitor order confirmations, delivery dates, backorders, substitutions, and discontinued items
  • Resolve purchasing, receiving, and invoice discrepancies in collaboration with vendors and internal departments
  • Maintain accurate purchase order records and update order status within procurement systems
  • Assist departments with purchasing processes, approved vendors, and contract compliance
  • Generate and review reports to support procurement activities and workflow management
  • Provide coverage for team members and assist with special projects as needed
  • Maintain positive vendor relationships and support organizational purchasing standards

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ year of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or healthcare materials management experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of purchasing systems and material management software preferred; Lawson experience a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
