Overview
Herzog Contracting Corp. is currently seeking a Contracting License & Procurement Assistant in St. Joseph, MO to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
  • Renew current Contractor licenses with each state or agency for National Construction
  • Apply for new contractor licenses as needed for National Construction
  • Assist with prequalification packages
  • Update Manhour history from current project
  • Work with current project staff to gather indirect costs for future bids
  • Bid Management - Solicit Bids from subcontractors and vendors
  • Assist with preparing bid documents
  • Support and assist estimating with all administrative tasks
  • Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog's Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3 years working in business administration or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Must work well in a team environment.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
  • Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen
  • Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
