ROLE: GCS Procurement Administrator I

REPORTSTO: Senior Director of Construction, GCS

LOCATION: Hybrid/ Corporate Office inHouston,Texas (4 days/week in office)

THE OPPORTUNITY

Venterra is looking for a detail-oriented GCS Procurement Administrator I to support high-volume procurement, sourcing, purchasing, invoice processing, contract administration, and purchase order management for GCS projects. In this Houston-based hybrid role, you will coordinate 150-200 sourcing events, support the "three bids and a buy" process, organize bid comparisons, create requisitions and purchase orders in Coupa, and partner with regional teams, construction stakeholders, suppliers, subcontractors, and Finance to keep projects on time, on budget, and compliant. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career procurement,purchasing, supply chain, construction administration, or project coordination professional.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate sourcing andpurchasingfor GCS projects, including materials, services, subcontractors, suppliers, paint projects, landscaping, building supplies, and other project needs.
  • Support the "three bids and a buy" process by collecting vendor quotes, tracking bid responses, preparing bid comparisons, andmaintainingaudit-ready procurement documentation.
  • Create and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, payment requests, invoices, and related approvals in Coupa while supporting policy compliance and budget controls.
  • Partner with Construction Managers, Site Supervisors, regional teams, suppliers, subcontractors, Finance, and internal stakeholders to resolve procurement, delivery, pricing, billing, and documentation issues.
  • Assistwith contract administration by preparing, routing, organizing, and tracking supplier/subcontractor agreements, purchase records, vendor correspondence, deadlines, and project files.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • 1-4 years of administrative, procurement,purchasing, supply chain, vendor coordination, accounts payable, project support, construction administration, or related experience; internship experience may be considered.
  • Exposure to vendor quotes, bid collection,purchaseorders, invoice processing, requisitions, contract administration, or procurement documentation is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with procurement systems,purchasingplatforms, ERP tools, or Coupa is an asset; strong Microsoft Office skills arerequired.
  • Associate's orBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Construction Management, Project Management, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Construction, building supply, multifamily, facilities, distribution, renovation, or project-based operations experience is a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, withstrong communication, follow-through, problem-solving, prioritization, stress-management, and big-picture thinking skills.
