Job description

Job Summary
Position: Label Processor II
Schedule: 1st Shift - Monday - Friday - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (based on business needs and job completions which could include overtime both during the week and on weekends)
Base Rate: $18.00/Hour
Produces customer-specific retail labels for a variety of product lines
Essential Job Functions *
  • Reviews work orders to determine required labels; contacts the appropriate employee to clarify items as needed.
  • Enters SKU numbers and pricing into the AS400 system.
  • Prints labels and monitors print jobs. Loads paper and troubleshoots machine problems.
  • Checks completed labels to verify the accuracy of information.
  • Ensures that orders are processed within established deadlines.
  • Maintains an inventory of blank labels.
  • Maintains a current knowledge of department operating procedures and company products.

Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience operating industrial equipment such as a cherry picker, reach and forklift.

  • Able to type 25 WPM.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
