Reports to: Infusion Supervisorย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย Job Summary:The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our cannabis production facility. This role involves assessing rooms for cleanliness, managing and cleaning tools and trays, performing alcohol and ISO management, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. The technician will operate washers and ultrasonic machines, prepare tools for daily use, and keep accurate cleaning logs. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
ย Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assesses processing areas for cleanliness and readiness, ensuring all tools in drawers, tins, and trays on shelves are clean.
  • Collects dirty tools and trays from the processing area and returns them to the washroom.
  • Collects dirty tools from Pods and cleans them through the washer or ultrasonic cycle. Stock clean towels in all stations and swap towels on drying racks every Friday.
  • Wash dirty tools using washers or ultrasonic machines and clean dirty trays thoroughly, distributing clean tools and trays back to their designated areas.
  • Collects, condenses, refills, and redistributes ISO bottles from the processing area
  • Maintains the sink area by ensuring it is clean and water is prepped for use.
  • Inspects washers and ultrasonic machines to ensure they are empty and clean before use, following the drainage schedule for the ultrasonic machine (Wednesdays and Fridays or as needed).
  • Manages the cleaning process for dirty trays and tools, ensuring tools are prepped for lunch switches and swapped during lunch times, and maintain clean and dry tools throughout the shift.
  • Checks and cleans Sauce Stations, prepare water to clean Sauce rollers, and clean Sauce rollers and Sauce mats on the production floor.
  • At the end of the day, collect dirty tools and trays from the production floor, prepare water for end-of-day cleaning, and clean all Sauce residue from Sauce roller machines and mats.
  • Maintains cleaning logs accurately and timely to ensure compliance with sanitation protocols and state regulations.
  • Performs alcohol refill runs and distribute as necessary.
  • Required to wear a fitted respirator mask.
