  • Act immediately to address safety hazards and unsafe behaviours, promote a strong safety culture, and support or lead assigned Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability programs.

  • Ensure Processing areas and activities are performed safely and in compliance with standard operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, and applicable quality systems.

  • Address GEMBA audit observations, support nonconformance investigations, identify deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Approve or review standard operating procedures, technical reports, on-the-job training documents, operational work instructions, and other relevant quality documentation as a subject-matter expert.

  • Ensure activities are documented according to Good Manufacturing Practice requirements and that data in GMP computer systems is accurate and maintained.

  • Ensure employees complete required competency-based training on time and partner with the Processing Manager and departmental trainers to build an agile, capable workforce.

  • Champion Kenvue Operational Excellence and Lean practices, including root cause problem solving and Kaizen, and implement improvements in safety, equipment reliability, cycle time, and nonconformance reduction.

  • Lead all aspects of people management, including goal setting, coaching, performance improvement, progressive discipline when required, resource planning, mentoring, and employee development.

  • Lead Processing participation in new product introductions, new equipment installations, operational change initiatives, and cross-functional site projects.

  • Build effective relationships with site partners, external vendors, and contractors, and provide short-term leadership coverage in the manager’s absence.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Applied Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Good Manufacturing Practice manufacturing operations.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production systems, quality systems, and GMP compliance.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based and cross-functional environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues thoroughly and resolve technical or operational challenges.

  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and meeting-facilitation skills.

  • Self-directed, with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and lead through change.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Prior people-leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with approximately 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.

  • Experience in solid-dose manufacturing within an over-the-counter, pharmaceutical, consumer health, or food manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of Health Canada, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and current Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead employees, build cross-functional relationships, and facilitate project teams.
