Job description

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a Full Time Senior Processor to process loans for all new branches until their processor is released from training or hired and then released from training, as well as to serve as a processing mentor for assigned branch processor and provide feedback to Processing Manager. Candidates should have experience directly related to the Mortgage Industry. Under the direct supervision of the Processing Team Lead, the job responsibilities of the Senior Processor position include, but are not limited, to the following:
  • Train new processors on Encompass.
  • Guide associates through the proper workflow and how to get from one milestone to the next.
  • Ensure checklists for Loan Submission are being completed before loan is submitted to Underwriting.
  • Review all loans prior to being submitted for initial underwrite, condition review and final approval.
  • Train Processors how to properly re-disclose files and make sure they understand what to look for and why.
  • Learn, train and oversee Bond program loans.
  • Teach processors how to set tasks to follow up on conditions, services requested and customer contact.
  • Make recommendations to Team Lead and Manager when processors can be released.
  • Cover/Coordinate coverage for processor's pipelines while they are out of the office.
  • Ability to maintain a personal pipeline of up to 20 loans (Specialty loans, employee loans, overflow).
  • Provide support to the team including general questions, Encompass & procedures.
  • Train New Processors for the following:
    • Communication channels that should be used in all scenarios;
      • Job function questions;
      • Underwriting questions;
      • Escalation Path;
      • Help Desks.
    • LOS utilization for:
      • Updated fees;
      • Payoffs;
      • Escrows;
      • Run AUS and all credit products.
    • Encompass documentation/condition usage:
      • Train Branch Processors on using the correct buckets for conditions and how to properly attach documents to conditions.
    • Review all loans prior to being submitted for initial underwrite, condition review and final approval.
    • Train Branch Processors how to properly re-disclose files and make sure they understand what to look for and why.
    • Provide a weekly email and phone call to Branch Processor to go over areas of improvement that are needed as well as areas that they are excelling at. This will be evidenced by memo submitted to Processing Manager.
    • Monitor Branch Processor turn times and submissions after Branch Processor is released to submit loans. Turn times will be included on weekly memo.
    • Train Branch Processor how to set tasks so they can have proper follow up on conditions requested.
    • Makes recommendations to Processing and Branch Manager whether Branch Processor can be released on new submissions and condition reviews and clear to close in order to be released with no further mentoring.
    • Review all Processor Conditions prior to clear to close to insure no delays occur.

  • 3+ Years experience processing loans.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient knowledge in Encompass.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of processing requirements for all loan products.
  • Knowledge of Company Processing procedures is preferred.
  • In office position, working hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm or 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
