Job Purpose and Impact

The Reliability and Production Excellence Engineer will apply technical knowledge to deliver continuous improvement in process and asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects. This role will also provide expertise to contribute to the development of production excellence processes and management systems focused on driving operational performance and value add across manufacturing plants. In this role, you will use your knowledge to execute key operational processes to achieve identified metrics. In this role, you will partner with the team to ensure the fulfillment of reliability engineering strategies and execute the work needed by the production team through the application of principles, concepts and standards, solving complex problems to improve the organizations products and services.


Key Accountabilities
  • Implement complex reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation opportunities.
  • Ensure an aligned continuous improvement process to effectively create, prioritize and handle a portfolio of projects and initiatives to maximize opportunity and value capture.
  • Complete risk analysis of new designs and processes and maintain the mechanical and electrical integrity of new installations and existing systems.
  • Oversee operations by analyzing and developing recommendations regarding failures and lost production, identify and implement solutions to improve the system, standard work and processes.
  • Perform the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.
  • Oversee the execution of measurement processes and monitor progress to identify variances and needed corrections.
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and the3 identification of critical spares.
  • You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of maintenance process management
  • Continuous or process improvement certifications
  • Project Management experience
  • Predictive maintenance technologies experience
  • Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP or similar Platforms
