Sterile Processing Assistant
Requirements
HS Diploma or GED
Hospital experience is nice to have
Must understand HIPAA
No Cert Required
Summary:
Often works under the supervision of an SPT or other qualified personnel.
Perform tasks and duties:
o Transporting instruments and equipment between departments.
o Assisting with cleaning and decontamination procedures.
o Preparing trays and instrument sets.
o Wipe down surgical carts.
o Cleaning and Preparing Carts and Surgical Containers.
o Delivering case carts.
o Prep container dried and cleaned.
o Will be on the feet for extended periods.
