Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Assembler position is part of the Production Team. This is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following:

Position reports to: Department Lead/Supervisor

  • Review and retrieve required inventory parts on schematics, drawings or work instructions.
  • Perform simple to complex assembly operations.
  • Test and inspect product to ensure specifications are met.
  • Report any deficiency to the Department
  • Follow department processes to ensure ISO compliance.
  • Possess some electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to use small hand tools including but not limited to cutters, strippers, crimpers and screwdrivers.
  • Ability to use basic judgment in quality analysis and communicate with Department Lead any discrepancies.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve workplace environment and safety conditions.
  • Maintain clean, neat, safe and orderly work area.
  • Attend work regularly and promptly.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
  • Attend and participate in all required training.
  • Attend and participate in all departmental meetings.
  • Other essential duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Competencies

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to use small hand tools.
  • Adheres to quality standard and safety standards

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, machinery, tools, and quality control procedures.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to read diagrams, and understand basic electrical and mechanical concepts
