We are looking for a Fine dining server for our Silvertip Resort at Canmore, Alberta. A successful candidate is required to work as per the company values: Caring, integrity, excellence, team sprit and financial responsibility.

Job responsibilities:

  • Providing culinary experience to our guests and residents as per our Service commitment, Service Beyond.
  • Provide guests with suggestions for wine pairings to complement their meals.
  • Conducting self in the most professional manner at all times at work.
  • Learning the menu and ingredients of the dishes, with the ability to suggest appropriate selection from the menu.
  • Ensuring food is served hot or at prescribed temperature.
  • Upselling the specials and premium sides.
  • Communicating efficiently with the Food and Beverage production team about the orders and guest requests.
  • Performing high-quality work in fast paced environment and delivering the orders in a timely manner.
  • Processing payments and operating point of sale system without an error.
  • Providing solutions to the guest complaints or issues or escort them to the supervisor or manager.
  • Ensuring all supplies are in stock before starting the shift.
  • Keeping the tables ready before the arrival of the guests.
  • Working as a team player with other department to provide great experience to the guests.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years in a fine dining setting required.
  • Open availability, ability to work weekends, evening and holidays.
  • Diploma or degree in hospitality is an asset.
  • Hospitality experience is an asset.
  • Should be eligible to work in Canada full-time.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment.
  • Experience in restaurant point of sale system is an asset.
  • Able to work overtime is a requirement.
  • Able to lift push or pull up to 40Ibs.
