  • Work toward and acquire the required skills to advance to a minimum of Level 2 in the SBP system
  • Actively participate in team meetings, production, and goal setting/accomplishment
  • Proactive and reactive in 5S
  • Volunteer services and/or knowledge on team projects and Team Engagement Roles
  • Ability to use problem solving/lean tools to resolve team issues
  • Ability to become certified on all processes that require certification
  • Ability to work in fast paced, team environment
  • Support and practice current policies
  • Safely operate a hand truck to move product
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively with team members

Essential Functions of the Role:
Operations and Processes for required training are, but not limited to:
  • Lock & Roll processes where you apply velcro attachment fixtures to a pouch
  • Finished Good/Work in Progress packing where you pack into carton/trays, etc. per the B.O.M.
  • Packing with and without barrier application utilizing wringer roller machine where you would apply a barrier to the pouch and then run through the wringer roller machine to help with adherence
  • Bottom Drain Processes where you attach a tube to the pouch for drainage purposes
  • Ability to visually inspect, measure, and test product per specification
  • Ability to stay focused and utilize proper packing method per specification and Bill of Material
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment as needed

Physical Requirements of the Role:
  • Ability to constantly stand, frequently walk, and occasionally sit
  • Ability to left and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull up to 500 pounds with a hand truck
  • Ability to occasionally stoop and twist
  • Ability to constantly reach while standing and sitting
  • Fine motor skills of the hands, wrists, and fingers
  • Sufficient eyesight to read various equipment and gauges along with manual dexterity to perform various functional tests on products/materials
