Responsibilities:

  • Works toward and acquires the required skills to advance to a minimum of a level 2 in the SBP system.
  • Understand and operate under the requirements of a Controlled/Clean Room.
  • Actively supports the team through commitment to Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and goal setting/accomplishments.
  • Proactive and reactive in 5S.
  • Volunteer services and/or knowledge on team projects and Team Engagement Roles.
  • Ability to use problem solving/lean tools to resolve team issues.
  • Ability to become certified on all processes that require certification.
  • Safely operate a hand truck to move product.
  • Support and practice current policies.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Ability to speak clearly and effective with team members.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Team Leader.

Essential Functions of the Role:

Operations and Processes for required training are, but not limited to:

  • Anchor Fast – rotation required through the process to finished goods specifications.
  • 4 Inch Line – rotation required through the process to finished goods specifications.
  • Collectors – rotation required through the process to finished goods specifications.
  • XTAD – ability to load machine with barriers, holders, and attach micropore rings
  • Pouch/Pack – fold pouches and pack per specifications.
  • Shapes and Boarders – load preform, peel paper and tabs off barriers as you are running the process.
  • Mahaffy Inspecting, Feeding and Packing – assembly required per product specifications and pack per finished goods specifications.
  • Finished Goods packing – pack into carton/corrugate, etc. per the Bill of Material.
  • Ability to stay focused and utilize proper packing method per specification and Bill of Material.

 

Physical Requirements of the Role:

  • Ability to constantly stand, walk, and sit.
  • Ability to left and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 500 pounds with a hand truck.
  • Ability to frequently stoop and twist.
  • Ability to occasionally kneel and crouch.
  • Ability to constantly reach while standing and sitting.
  • Fine motor skills of the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Sufficient eyesight to read various equipment and gauges along with manual dexterity to perform various functional test on products/materials.
