  • Assist the Corporate Safety Director in managing the existing safety program.
  • Perform daily inspections of projects in the assigned division to ensure employees are adhering to Company safety policies and procedures as well as ensuring compliance with CFR 1926 standards.
  • Assist Division Managers and Operations Managers in any safety matters that arise such as development of site-specific safety plans, emergency action plans, and documentation of safety.
  • Prepare and submit a weekly safety report to the Corporate Safety Director and Division Manager outlining any safety-related issues and/or non-compliance matters.
  • Document and all incidents and/or injuries and take appropriate action under the direction and in accordance with corporate case management system(s).
  • Assist in training, orientation and coaching of employees.
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (“CHST”)
  • OSHA Outreach Trainer (OSHA 500)
  • Applicants shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction safety.
  • Experience/education/understanding of excavation/trenches, shoring, confined space, fall protection, rigging, traffic control, and site safety plans.
  • Candidates that are bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish are encouraged to apply.
