Job description

Position Summary:
Landmark Builders is seeking a full-time, experienced Project Managerย in Charleston, SC.
ย 

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution

  • Create and implement project execution plans for complex, fast-tracked, and/or multi-phased commercial construction projects, adjusting as necessary to address changing needs and requirements.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, updating job cost/profit forecasts monthly.
  • Generate, maintain, and execute detailed project schedules.
  • Secure and obtain required permits, approvals, and public utilities.
  • Ensure timely material acquisition and deliveries.
  • Assist Project Superintendents in maintaining quality control and safety standards.

Procurement & Contract Administration

  • Coordinate with construction partners to buy out project scopes and prepare all purchase orders and subcontractor agreements.
  • Manage plan revision, submittal, RFI, pay application, and change order processes.
  • Ensure that Landmark is a fair construction partner at all times.

Communication & Client Relations

  • Lead meetings with operations staff, owners, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers and manage client expectations.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with field staff, senior management, owners, architects, subcontractors, and the entire team, keeping all parties informed of project issues and changes.

Qualifications:
Experience & Technical Knowledge

  • BA/BS Degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience preferred as a commercial construction Project Manager.
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction project lifecycles, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Previous experience with high-rise commercial construction.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented focus with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
