JOB SUMMARYLeading the construction process efforts for assigned project(s) to ensure the success is aligned with the budget, schedule, and is constructible.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires the knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through the completion of a five year electrical apprentice program.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Three to five years’ experience in a project management position in construction industry.
    Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline or equivalent experience.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated financial analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office.
  • Tactful and has professional demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with manager, employees, vendors, and others.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The process Project Manager is responsible for leading, improving, and standardizing business and operational processes across projects and departments.
  • This role focuses on planning, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving workflows to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and consistency.
  • The Process Project Manager works cross-functionally with operations, projects teams, leadership, and support departments to ensure processes align with the organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing overall project management support for several small to medium projects or on one very large project.
  • Provide overall supervision and technical management on construction project sites from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the costumer.

Responsible for all the following tasks and actions. They may choose to delegate to more appropriate persons on their team, however they ultimately are responsible:

  • Lead development
  • Analyze existing workflows
  • Manage process from initiation through implementation
  • Facilitate process mapping, documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and filed leaders
  • Establish metrics and performance indicators
  • Identify and implement best practices
  • Ensure process compliment with company policies, safety standards, quality requirements and contractual obligations
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on process performance, risks and improvements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
