This role partners closely with Product Development, Purchasing, Quality, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and overseas manufacturing partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Milestone Process Ownership:
  • Own and administer Schylling's product development milestone process from concept approval through first factory delivery.
  • Ensure projects advance through each stage only after required deliverables and approvals have been completed.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and milestone status within NetSuite ERP.
  • Schedule and facilitate project review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor adherence to development processes and drive accountability across departments.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, visibility, and execution.
Project Management:
  • Manage the end-to-end product development critical path across all active projects.
  • Maintain project schedules, milestone dates, and deliverables within NetSuite ERP.
  • Monitor progress against development timelines and proactively identify potential delays, risks, or resource constraints.
  • Drive accountability across teams to ensure milestone completion.
  • Escalate timeline, quality, or resource concerns when necessary.
  • Lead regular project status reviews and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Process Administration:
  • Serve as the primary owner of the product development milestone process within NetSuite.
  • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of project, item, and milestone data.
  • Monitor workflow compliance and data integrity across all development projects.
  • Develop and maintain project reports, dashboards, and tracking tools.
  • Partner with internal teams to continuously improve product development workflows and reporting capabilities.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Coordinate activities among Product Development, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and manufacturing partners.
  • Track completion of critical deliverables, including design approvals, costing, packaging, testing, compliance documentation, sample approvals, and production readiness activities.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment among stakeholders throughout the development process.
  • Ensure project risks and delays are identified, communicated, and managed proactively.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management, product development coordination, or related experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:
  • Experience in the toy, consumer products, gift, or import manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with overseas manufacturing and sourcing processes, particularly in China.
  • Experience managing product development schedules, critical paths, or milestone processes.
