Process Engineer – Automation FocusAbout the Role

We are seeking a Process Engineer with a strong focus on Industrial Automation to support manufacturing operations through process optimization, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement. This role will be responsible for identifying and implementing technology-driven solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and operational performance.

The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing environments, industrial controls, and automation projects, and is passionate about driving operational excellence through innovative technologies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Lead and support automation and process improvement projects.
  • Analyze production data and operational KPIs to drive efficiency and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to optimize operations.
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for process-related issues.
  • Participate in equipment upgrades, new technology implementation, and digitalization initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements.

QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field).
  • Experience in manufacturing and industrial process environments.
  • Experience leading or supporting automation projects.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, SCADA, industrial controls, and instrumentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency (required). This position requires regular communication with global stakeholders.
Preferred
  • Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Schneider, Omron, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IIoT, MES, or digital manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Minitab, or advanced data analysis tools.
