Job Description:
Be a Manager, Paid Social
The Manager, Paid Social Activation is responsible for leading the execution, optimization, and delivery of paid social media campaigns while simultaneously leading a team of activation specialists and reporting to the Associate Director. This role serves as the primary connection between client strategy and campaign execution, ensuring campaigns are launched accurately, optimized effectively, and aligned with client business objectives in mind.
The Manager is accountable for developing team members, improving operational efficiencies, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering exceptional client service across multiple paid social platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities
Campaign:
Building approach and know the ins and outs of each social platform's ad manager
High level pacing management
Reporting QA and process/efficiencies
Presents reporting for campaigns
Troubleshoot escalation and compilation for UI requests and edits
Create & articulate clear performance metrics & develop associated reports that measure KPIs
Establish & ensure team is following timelines for development of plans, check points, deliverables, etc
Media Planning:
Activation Plan & deck review and presentation
Mastery of social and cross channel strategy ideation
Proactively explore and recommend ways to approach campaigns (new targeting, ad formats, campaign structure, etc)
Oversee buying & implementation of digital campaigns, coordinating internal resources, following best practice, ensure consistency, etc
Creative
Oversee server (file organization) management
Ensure team is checking assets & copy trackers for issues / discrepancies
Review & Update Ship & Air Trackers and asset lists
Permalink management & Review
Screenshot QA / Maintain client folder
Own conversations with MAL - Manage timelines/expectation
Billing
Billing Chart QA
Invoice discrepancy vendor outreach & investigation
DDS credits QA / Prisma QA + Upkeep / actualization QA
CORE plan review & management (upkeep)
Send CORE estimates
