Job description


New Honeywell is embarking on a significant organizational transformation. As a part of this transformation, Honeywell Finance is standing up a Global Business Service (GBS) organization that will span multiple geographies and eventually be responsible for end-to-end finance delivery activities (R2R, P2P, and business finance including commercial, ISC, BAP etc.). The GBS Finance S4 HANA Leader is a critical leadership role that is accountable for ensuring that all SAP S/4HANA-enabled GBS processes are thoughtfully designed, effectively implemented, and consistently deployed across the Global Business Services organization to maximize enterprise value for Honeywell. It will report to GBS Business Relationship Management Leader and be matrixed to the VP of Finance Transformation.
This role will serve as the primary GBS SAP S/4HANA representative in executive forums, drive alignment across cross-functional GBS teams, and partner closely with Information Technology to ensure functional and technical requirements are fully defined, prioritized, and delivered. In addition, this position will support the stand-up and effective functioning of the GBS organization as a Business Relationship Manger (BRM). It is a highly visible leadership position with end-to-end ownership of process design, data structures, reporting and stakeholder management. The role is based in the United States and will work extensively with GBS hubs globally as well as with SBG and Corporate Leadership.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the single point of contact for GBS stakeholder needs at the leadership level and participate as an active member of client and stakeholder leadership teams to drive alignment, decision-making, and outcomes
  • Establish and BRM MOS for GBS escalations and high-impact issues for stakeholders in SBG and Corporate functions
  • Oversee execution of stakeholder related action items and facilitate resolution process.
  • Represent BRM in key GBS Finance MOS and governance forums related to assigned business.
  • Develop and maintain the GBS SAP S/4HANA Global Design Model, including standardized process definitions, data standards, governance mechanisms, and documentation required to support global adoption.
  • Partner with business, Finance, and functional stakeholders to set strategic direction for S4 HANA and to define, optimize, and continuously improve GBS processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with SBG and functional contacts to assess, prioritize, and sequence current and planned requirements, ensuring alignment to enterprise objectives and GBS delivery capacity related to S4 HANA deployment.
  • Drive integrated functional solution decision-making across SAP S/4HANA applications and modules, ensuring design choices are scalable, compliant, and aligned to end-to-end process intent.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated functional knowledge across SAP S/4HANA modules, with deep expertise and specialization in Finance.
  • Minimum of 5+ years leading and managing SAP S/4HANA initiatives and activities.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of Finance and/or IT experience within large, complex enterprises.
  • End-to-end Finance process expertise in R2R & P2P
  • Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies, collaborating effectively across multiple cross-functional teams to execute against milestones and deliverables with speed, quality, and discipline.
  • Experience with SAP Signavio and/or other process mining tools to benchmark and measure process performance is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SOX requirements, including experience designing, executing, and operating effective controls.
