Job Summary
This position provides advanced technical leadership and hands-on expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise automation and integration solutions. This role serves as the senior technical lead for initiatives spanning business process automation, robotic process automation, API-based integrations, iPaaS, enterprise data integration, and AI-enabled automation. The position delivers secure, scalable, reusable solutions aligned with institutional modernization goals.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide architectural and technical guidance on enterprise automation and integration strategies, platform direction, and solution design aligned with institutional goals.
2. Lead the design, development, implementation, and operational support of enterprise automation and integration solutions across workflows, APIs, data platforms, and systems.
3. Serve as the senior hands-on technical lead for complex initiatives, defining technical approaches, development standards, and solution quality.
4. Design, build, and support business process automation, robotic process automation, and workflow orchestration using platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, or similar tools.
5. Design, develop, and maintain API-based integrations, connectors, and orchestration flows using iPaaS and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, SnapLogic, or Azure services.
6. Develop and support integrations between enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, and on-premises systems using APIs, events, messaging, and file-based exchanges.
7. Collaborate with data teams to integrate automation services with enterprise data platforms and analytics environments including Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle, and SQL Server.
8. Lead technical solutioning for automation and integration involving ERP, CRM, SIS, identity management, document systems, collaboration platforms, and related enterprise technologies.
9. Translate business requirements and process inefficiencies into secure, scalable, supportable, and reusable automation and integration solutions.
10. Establish and enforce reusable integration patterns, coding standards, documentation practices, and technical best practices for automation and integration delivery.
11. Troubleshoot complex automation, orchestration, API, and integration issues and lead resolution efforts across platforms, teams, and vendors.
12. Support platform performance, resiliency, security controls, lifecycle management, and compliance requirements for automation and integration services.

KNOWLEDGE
Strong understanding of enterprise automation, workflow orchestration, BPA, RPA, API management, and system integration concepts.
Proficiency with automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Decisions, Blue Prism, or comparable tools.
Experience designing REST and SOAP APIs and integrations using JSON, XML, webhooks, and event-driven architectures. Working knowledge of enterprise integration patterns including synchronous, asynchronous, batch, and event-driven models.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, SQL, Java, or JavaScript for automation and integration tasks.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure services, and cloud-based data and integration services.
Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, analytics environments, and data integration concepts.
Knowledge of security, authentication, authorization, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and operational support practices.
SKILLS
Advanced hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms and middleware technologies for enterprise integration design, development, deployment, and support.
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
