What you’ll do: 


We are seeking a self-motivated Process Gas Sales Manager who will lead and manage relationships and opportunities with end users and process licensors across all process gas market segments including Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, LNG, Carbon Capture (CCUS), etc. This role is strategically focused on ensuring Aerzen technology is basis of design within applications in target market sectors and ensuring Aerzen is on end-user AVL’s. This role will bridge the gap between complex technical engineering and strategic business development, ensuring Aerzen’s compressor and blower technology is the preferred choice.  

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 


  • Identify new and manage existing end-user and process licensor opportunities for Aerzen process gas blower and compressor solutions in target and new accounts by utilizing industry tools, networking, account prospecting, cold calling, and existing relationships.? 
  • Continually develop new customers and find new applications. Maintain active sales funnel of qualified opportunities to meet or exceed territory objectives as set by Manager. 
  • Actively call on target end-users, process licensors, and other companies responsible for the design of the process gas blower and/or compressor application to influence the specification to include Aerzen products. Secure Aerzen as a preferred / approved vendor. 
  • Actively prospect and meet with key influencers and decision makers in the above organizations. Present Aerzen offering and value proposition for process gas products. 
  • Work with other process gas sales and business development team members to develop opportunities and execute sales strategy.  
  • Work closely with clients during the design phase and demonstrate a high level of technical and product aptitude. Be recognized as client’s first phone call when questions arise. 
  • Pursue sales initiatives as set by the Process Gas manager. Align sales approach and project strategy with all stakeholders. Provide continual feedback on strategy. 
  • Prepare sales projections, forecasts, strategies, reports as required by Management. Prepare effective proposals and presentations. Utilize company ERP and CRM system.

Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred 

Experience (yrs): 


Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in Sales, preferably in the area of rotating equipment and/or packaged systems related to process gas, refinery, oil&gas, chemical, Petrochem, power gen, and related applications.  

 Competencies: 


Proficient in MS Office programs, previous experience with enterprise-wide software systems and/or customer relations management software. Use of quoting software is a plus. 


Ability to read drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, and other engineering documents. 


Strong communication skills – professional speaking and writing styles. 


Root cause analysis skills – critical thinking ability. 


Proven experience with prospecting, qualifying, and closing high-dollar contracts. 


Must be able and willing to travel up to 50% of the time for business.
