Principal Associate - PULSE Product Governance
As a Principal Associate Process Manager on the PULSE Product Governance team, you will champion operational excellence and support the Product Development Lifecycle within the PULSE PMO. This role is central to maintaining pristine Jira data quality, translating portfolio metrics into insightful reporting, and crafting high-impact monthly presentation decks for senior leadership. We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented communicator who can effectively build relationships, influence cross-functional partners, and navigate a fast-paced Agile environment to ensure flawless project execution.You may also lead or engage in critical departmental or cross-functional organizational initiatives and projects.
General Responsibilities:
  • Enforce Jira Data Quality: Monitor and maintain high data fidelity across all levels-from high-level Programs down to User Stories-to ensure project information is accurate, up to date, and reliable.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Leverage Jira portfolio and execution-level data to build dynamic reporting and dashboards that highlights work visibility, resource capacity, and key product delivery insights.
  • Executive Presentations: Lead the creation of monthly senior leadership decks by synthesizing data from Jira and Google Drive to report on portfolio health and guide strategic prioritization decisions.
  • Analyze data and influence: to proactively identify data risks and trends
  • Build effective partnerships: with Product, Technology and Intent Owners to achieve desired outcomes or improvements by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years of Process or Risk Management experience
  • At least 1 year of Continual Improvement experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience creating presentation decks for executive leadership
  • At least 1 year of experience using Jira to update data, run queries, and extract information
  • At least 4+ years of Process Management experience
  • At least 1+ years of Project Management experience
  • At least 1+ years of experience working with Product and Technology teams
  • Process Management training and certifications (Lean, Six Sigma)

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Houston, TX: $98,900 - $112,900 for Principal Process Manager
McLean, VA: $108,900 - $124,300 for Principal Process Manager
Riverwoods, IL: $98,900 - $112,900 for Principal Process Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
