Job Description
Transform technology into opportunity as a Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM) Process Lead at GDIT. You will serve as the technical and operational leader for the Endpoint Administration team, shaping mission-critical IT services for USCENTCOM on the CITS contract.Meaningful Work & Personal Impact:

The MCM Process Lead is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, coordination, and execution of enterprise endpoint management operations supporting mission-critical systems. This role provides technical oversight for enterprise Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM) infrastructure, patch compliance, software delivery, operating system deployment (OSD), and endpoint security baseline compliance while leading a team of 3-6 contractors in a fast-paced, high-tempo USCENTCOM environment at MacDill AFB.

Additionally, as a Process Lead within the Information Technology Enterprise Services (ITES) task area operating in a cross-functional construct, this position may be leveraged to cover down for other process leads when operational circumstances dictate. This cross-functional alignment ensures complete mission success, operational flexibility, and seamless continuity across all enterprise service efforts.

What youll need to succeed:

Experience

Minimum five (5) years of enterprise Systems Administration or endpoint management experience supporting MCM environments within a mission-critical or DoD environment.

Leadership Experience

Previous experience serving as a Process Lead, Technical Lead, or Senior Administrator responsible for coordinating contractor personnel or operational teams.

Technical Expertise

Deep proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM), including software delivery, patch management, OSD, client health, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.

Operational Skills

Experience managing workloads and agile tasking using Azure DevOps (ADO) boards, Scrumban, or related Agile methodologies under tight DoD operational timelines.

Security Clearance

Active TS/SCI

Citizenship

US citizenship required.

Travel

Willingness and capable of supporting USCENTCOM exercises or operational requirements, with potential for up to 10% travel to OCONUS locations.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Certifications

CompTIA Security+ (required to meet DoD 8570/8140 compliance), Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent technical certifications

Automation & Scripting

Strong PowerShell automation, scripting, and SQL query scripting experience for custom MCM reporting

Tools & Technologies

Experience with Microsoft Intune, co-management, cloud-attached endpoint management, and enterprise monitoring suites

Mission Experience

Prior experience supporting USCENTCOM, other Combatant Commands (COCOMs), or Department of Defense enterprise environments on the CITS contract

Methodologies

Direct experience managing multi-contractor teams using Agile, Scrum, or Scrumban methodologies within a fast-paced tactical/operational environment

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $99,475. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
