Business Process Analyst

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Business Process Analyst (Level 3 or 4) to support the Raw Material Aggregation Systems (RMAS) Team within BCA Supply Chain based in Kent, Washington.

This exciting opportunity within the RMAS team serves as a key resource for internal and external end users (our customers) of the RMAS system, ensuring that system requests, questions, and enhancement needs are addressed efficiently and accurately.

This is an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated professional with a strong background in end-to-end supply chain business processes and SAP. As an RMAS Business Process Analyst, you will work between multi-layer end user business teams and IT to analyze current processes, identify issues or inefficiencies, recommend meaningful improvements, and support system or process enhancements. This role offers the chance to contribute to important work that shapes the future of Boeing!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and manages system tickets through resolution, collaborating with team members and end users to assess issues, communicate status, and ensure timely and effective outcomes
  • Conducts business requirements review, coordinates testing schedules, and assists in the preparation of test scripts
  • Communicates with information technology organizations to represent customers and functional users on project requirements, activities, and status
  • Assists with coordination of reviews, assessments, and audits of business process documentation, as required
  • Facilitates cross-functional efforts around key business processes, including their integration with and impact on other processes
  • Assists in the collection, analysis, and documentation of requirements from process owners under limited oversight
  • Effectively engage with customers and/or charter projects, design process workshops based on customer requirements and objectives, and communicate information to affected stakeholders
  • Influence, negotiate, and act as a change agent with a diverse audience
  • Apply and integrate current strategic initiatives into process improvement activities
  • Schedules and plans assigned work
  • Contributes to the completion of specific programs, projects and implementation activities
  • Supports the team by collecting task status and creating visibility materials of project, as required
  • Utilizes and complies with the current documentation framework and standards
  • Assists in efforts to identify opportunities to eliminate, consolidate and/or simplify process documents
  • May develop or assist with developing process standards, guidelines, methods and tools
  • Provides support to teams to work within, integrate with or improve the existing process architecture

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain processes
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP or any other ERP system

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • 7+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in production operations or a support role involving end user/customer support for IT systems
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
